How to Create Social Media Content for Social Change: Social Media Campaigning Workshop

group of people standing looking at their phones

You will leave this interactive workshop with a practical plan full of social content ideas you can use.

The priories of people, press and politicians change daily, and to stay relevant, so must the social media content we put out. In this dynamic, fun session we’ll explore the whys, what’s and how’s to create superb campaign content for social media.

We’ll cover the strategic thinking behind winning content and how to generate the content ideas themselves — ensuring you come away with both the theory and the execution.

After setting goals, discussing channels and understanding principles, together we’ll generate dozens of high-quality ideas in a rapid-fire format. You’ll get the chance to discuss and hone your ideas in a judgement-free space, meaning you’ll leave with ready-to-go creative plans.

Three things you will get out of this workshop

  • Understand the strategic thinking that underpins great social media content
  • Understand the principles of making great social media content
  • Generate practical, workable ideas for current campaigns

This workshop compliments the Communicating for Change workshop well.

Please note that this workshop has participatory elements. If you are unable to participate for any reason or in a specific manner (e.g. speaking, camera on, chat function, breakout rooms, etc.), please put that in the “Accessibility Requirements” section during checkout, and remind your facilitator at the beginning of the session.
