Two kinds of events

Our events combine SMK’s analysis of power, solidarity and social change with expertise from across the partnership and beyond.

We offer two kinds of events to help you work in deeper solidarity with people with first-hand experience in your campaigns for social change. They work as a series, or you can drop in to one or two.

We know that taking constructive time out to meet with other campaigners and learn and reflect together is a keyway to strengthen the campaign community and increase our impact.

These days will include some amazing guest speakers and trainers, practical tools and resources and plenty of time to connect and reflect together. The programme for each Community Day will be based on your feedback and SMK’s rich network of campaign experts.

Building Campaign Community Hubs

As part of this year’s programme we will be working with grantees to design and build community hubs for shared learning and support. These could be thematic or geographical for example.

The hubs will be designed in consultation with Grantees to ensure they are accessible, participatory and add value to their own housing and homelessness activities.
