Local and devolved government can appear complex and impenetrable if you aren’t well versed in politics. This workshop will help you to understand where power lies at different levels of local and devolved government.
Three things participants will do in this workshop:
- Understand how different types of local government work
- Learn how to engage with councillors and officers
- Examine where else power lies and how it can be challenged, co-opted and changed at a local level
