Each year, SMK celebrates the best campaigns and campaigners – whether working locally or nationally, and from individuals and community groups to people working in large organisations. Our interest is in finding those who have made change happen – most effectively, creatively and courageously. The SMK National Campaigner Awards is where we bring the campaign community together to champion and celebrate campaigning, demonstrating its value and acknowledging success.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve had to postpone the 2020 National Campaigner Awards celebration, which was due to be held in September at the Union Chapel – in Islington. Please watch this space for an update on this years Awards, and the new way in which we’ll be celebrating our shortlist and winners.

Nominations for the 2020 National Campaigner Awards are now closed. Thank you to everyone who nominated.

There are ten amazing categories for this years Awards and we are pleased to have on-board nine fantastic sponsors. To read more about them, click the button below.

These Awards have been running since 2005, and we have an archive of fantastic previous winners. To view previous Award brochures and images from the 2019 Awards, click below.

We believe now more than ever that our work must protect the space for campaigners’ voices in civil society – with your support, we can continue to do this. Even the smallest of donations make a big difference…
