Each year, SMK celebrates the best campaigns and campaigners – whether working locally or nationally, and from individuals and community groups to people working in large organisations. Our interest is in finding those who have made change happen – most effectively, creatively and courageously. The SMK National Campaigner Awards is where we bring the campaign community together to champion and celebrate campaigning, demonstrating its value and acknowledging success.

This year, we are doing things a little differently. With the generous support of our friends at London’s Union Chapel, and our wonderful sponsors, we are now able to host an even bigger celebration, one that will combine the Awards with SMK’s 15 year anniversary. And for the first time, we will open the event to anyone who would like to celebrate with us through online ticket sales, which will open in June.

This years Awards will take place on Wednesday 2 September.

If you know someone or an organisation who you think deserves to be celebrated, please do nominate them – you can also nominate yourself! You can find out more about our ten fantastic categories below.

The nomination process is simple, just click the nominate button below and complete our short form. The deadline for nominations is 12pm Friday 3rd April.

We believe now more than ever that our work must protect the space for campaigners’ voices in civil society – with your support, we can continue to do this. Even the smallest of donations make a big difference…
