Head of Training and Consultancy 

London (delivery across UK and some International)
£35-45,000 (plus benefits) depending on experience

The Sheila McKechnie Foundation (SMK) has been through a period of rapid change and growth following publication of our ground-breaking Social Change Project research. As a result, we are looking for a talented, ambitious and experienced person to join our team to head up our rapidly growing portfolio of training programmes and consultancy services.

As the Head of Training and Consultancy, you will be responsible for the co-design and delivery of SMK’s suite of capacity-building support. You be an experienced and confident trainer, comfortable working with audiences as diverse as grass roots community activists to senior campaign professionals. You will have the ambition and energy needed to help diversify our offer, drawing on evidence of needs, and using digital as an enabler. You will also have experience of writing both funding bids and tender documents. You will look after our pool of talented Associates and be responsible for the overall quality and consistency of our support.

We’re looking for new Associates to support our consultancy work. Do you offer exceptional knowledge of campaigning and social change? We are particularly looking for people with experience in:

  • digital campaigning/movement building
  • local campaigning and community organising
  • working with young people
  • high-level strategic consultancy working with SMTs and Boards.
